What are ERC-1155s?

There are two types of NFTs currently supported on OpenSea Pro.

• 1/1 NFTs - known as ERC-721 tokens on Ethereum 
• Semi-fungible NFTs - known as ERC-1155 tokens on Ethereum 

1/1 NFTs, known by their token standard as ERC-721 on Ethereum, are the classic definition of Non-Fungible Tokens. Each NFT is unique and distinct from other NFTs.

Semi-fungible NFTs, known by their token standard ERC-1155 on Ethereum, are slightly different. Because they are semi-fungible, the items themselves are distinct from other NFTs. However, they might have a quantity greater than one. These NFTs are great for gaming items and creating membership passes for your community!

Identifying ERC-1155s on OpenSea Pro

There are two ways to check if an NFT is an ERC-1155 on OpenSea Pro. 

Collection Page

If a collection consists solely of ERC-1155s, an “ERC-1155” label will appear on its page.

Item Page

Check an individual NFT's page. If it's an ERC-1155, you'll see the “ERC-1155” label there.

Tips for ERC-1155s on OpenSea Pro

Here are some tips to get the most out of managing your ERC-1155 NFTs on OpenSea Pro.

Held Quantity

You can track how many items of an ERC-1155 you hold in the collection page and the listing manager.

Floor Price

You can isolate the floor price of an ERC-1155 item from its collection floor price by clicking on Item Floor under the price field, or the Floor toggle in the listing manager. You can also Increase or Decrease your desired price from the item floor.

View Number of Listed Items

You can view the listed quantity of any ERC-1155 item on a collection page to immediately get a sense of its supply.

Breakdown of Top Owners

Click on a number in the Owners column to expand a breakdown of an ERC-1155 item’s top owners. This lets you quickly spot whales in any collection!

Split Listings

You now have increased control when listing ERC-1155 items, allowing you to list your items at different prices in a single flow. Click the Split icon next to the price input field to create multiple listings in one go!
