⁉️ Why did my Blur buy on OpenSea Pro fail and how can I avoid it? Why did my Blur buy on OpenSea Pro fail? OpenSea Pro is an aggregator platform, which means you can buy/sell items from different marketplaces using OpenSea Pro. This means that if a marketplace has some limitations or restrictions, an aggregator would just need to work with those limitations or restrictions. Blur marketplace imposes a deadline on each buy order. This deadline states that if an order is not executed within 30 blocks on Ethereum (approximately 6 minutes), the buy order will be considered invalid and fail as a result. The screenshot below shows the blockRange parameter set to 30, which decides the duration of blocks within which a buy order has to be executed. The screenshot below shows a Blur buy etherscan transaction which took 11 mins and 56 secs to be confirmed, which breaches the deadline imposed by the Blur marketplace contract. Such transactions usually have Fail with error 'Signature expired' error as shown in the screenshot. How do I avoid Blur buy failures in the future? If the Gas Settings are set to Standard, then Blur purchases will be automatically set to the Fast preset, which can increase the chance of a successful transaction but will also add to its cost, depending on the congestion of the Ethereum blockchain.Non-Blur purchases will have their gas settings set by the wallet.
