Web3 Marketplace Fees Generally The applicable web marketplace fee is determined at the time a listing or an offer is created based on the policy of the underlying web3 marketplace (e.g., OpenSea, Blur, LooksRare, X2Y2), and the fee is included in the listing or offer by the prospective seller or buyer. OpenSea Fee When you create a listing on OpenSea Pro’s website you can choose to select OpenSea as the relevant web3 marketplace. When you create offers on OpenSea Pro’s website, you are selecting OpenSea as the relevant web3 marketplace. If a secondary sale listing or offer is created while on OpenSea’s website, a 2.5% fee will typically apply. However, if you create a listing or offer on OpenSea Pro’s website and select OpenSea as the relevant web3 marketplace, only a 0.5% OpenSea fee will apply. Additionally, if you create a private listing on OpenSea Pro’s website, a 0% OpenSea fee will apply even though OpenSea will be the relevant web3 marketplace for that listing. The seller is responsible for bearing the OpenSea fee. The buyer is responsible for paying the item price, a portion of which is received by OpenSea as its fee.
